The Groovy Food Company is committed to protecting your privacy. You may supply us with personal data at your discretion and we agree that we will deal with this data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation that comes into force in the UK and across Europe on the 25th May 2018.
Please note this applies only to us and not to other companies or organisations to which we link with who will have their own detailed privacy policies and respect the security of your personal data.

If you fail to provide accurate data we may not be able to perform the contract that we are trying to enter with you, such as the provision of our yummy products. If this happens, we will notify you.

Information is collected from you when you register with us, or when you contribute to or use some of the advanced features on the site, such as our shop and our social media platforms which are linked to our site www.groovyfood.co.uk.
Other ways in which we may collect and store your data include competitions and promotions, when you talk to us at our events and when you contact us to give feedback or submit a recipe.
The information we collect is clearly set out on the web page on which we collect it. See for example our feedback page and order form, where we collect identity data, contact data, payment and transaction data.
In addition, through software such as google analytics we may collect your technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, time zone setting, location and more. We are only interested in where you have come from, which pages you are visiting and how long you have stayed from on the site. This is to help improve our site and our customers journey through it.

We do not collect any special category data such as race, ethnicity or religious beliefs and we do not sell you data on to any other businesses.

You also have the right to with draw consent to us using your personal information at any time, please contact us on [email protected] , in addition, you also have the right to ask us to delete all personal information that we hold on you at any-time and we will be happy to oblige.
You also have the right to complain to us or to the Information Commissioners Office if you are unhappy about the way that we have used your personal information.

Following the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation that comes into force in the UK and across Europe on the 25th May 2018, we may need to update or change our privacy policy further. We will make a note of any changes and date them.
